Your task list can be a neatly organized system of goals and projects and activities or a mess of ideas popping out from your mail, phone, chat app, drop-in visitors, or from your memory. Or it can be anywhere in between the two extremes.


To be efficient, you need to answer the planner's question: »What should I do now?« Try to think about the circumstance, the importance, the urgency… however, in the end, you have to pick your next task.


Now, protect yourself from interruptions. Just do the chosen task. Finish it. Finalize. Check the checkbox. Then ask the planner's question again.
